A ranking system is only as good as its data. To prevent "fake" items, duplicates, or spam from polluting our global consensus, Consensus Big Boards enforces strict data validation against official, third-party databases.
Unlike other platforms that allow users to type in anything (resulting in 10 variations of "Spider-Man"), we require users to select from the verified dropdown list. This ensures that every vote for "The Matrix" counts toward the same entity in our backend.
Our search APIs are live. As soon as a new movie is added to TMDB or a new game appears on IGDB, it is instantly available to be ranked on Consensus Big Boards.
